Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking a skilled Cardiac Physiologist to join our echo team based in Bristol on a full-time permanent basis. The salary for this role is £40,000 - £47,000 per annum. 

As a Cardiac Physiologist with Sanctuary Personnel, you will demonstrate proficiency in adhering to BSE reporting guidelines, ensuring the provision of a secure and welcoming clinical environment for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and report adult trans-thoracic echocardiograms in accordance with [1] BSE minimum data set and [2] local reporting guidelines.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on equipment and take appropriate action.
  • Submit reports and archive study images following contractual requirements and local SOPs.
  • Collaborate with relevant hospital departments and GP practices for urgent clinical referrals.
  • Support patient bookings and maintain patient information systems.

Requirements:

  • Experience in performing and reporting adult transthoracic echocardiograms.
  • Hold accreditation from the British Society of Echocardiography (or equivalent) or be actively accumulating log-book cases for BSE practical.
  • Possess a full UK driving license.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Data Protection Act, Information Governance Statement of Compliance, and Caldicott Principles.
  • Willingness to embrace new thinking and technologies.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
