Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector has a locum Band 5 Haematology/Transfusion Biomedical Scientist role based in Tunbridge Wells.

The pay rate for this locum Haematology/Transfusion Biomedical Scientist job is £20-£32 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-6-month contract.

Shift Pattern:

  • Some core days, mostly lates and nights (once training is complete).
  • Day shifts: £20 per hour.
  • Night shifts: £25 per hour.
  • Sunday shifts: £32 per hour.

Requirements of the Haematology/Transfusion Biomedical Scientist:

  • HCPC registered.
  • Must have a relevant qualification in biomedical science or alternative qualification.
  • At least two years of post-qualifying experience within biomedical science.
  • Specialise in either haematology or blood transfusion as a single discipline.
  • Must already be working in a UK laboratory in either haem or BT.
  • Able to work nights in the section.
