Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Intermediate Care Physiotherapist to work full-time in Warrington. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Physiotherapy and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum Physiotherapist job is £25.50 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an ongoing contract.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent within Physiotherapy
  • HCPC registered as a Physiotherapist
  • Recent post qualifying experience working as a Physiotherapist
  • Previous NHS experience

The role:

To undertake specialist assessment of patients within their own homes with acute/unstable conditions who are referred to the Intermediate Care Service as an alternative to hospital admission. To undertake Physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis and deliver treatment programmes for adults with intermediate care needs in the Warrington area. To have continuing responsibility for a defined case load of patients who have been identified as being at risk of inappropriate hospitalisation. To actively participate and contribute to multidisciplinary team working also liaising with other professional agencies to promote and plan rehabilitation and care
