Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Community Occupational Therapist to work within a care home setting based in Rushcliffe, Nottingham on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £24.76 - £25.39 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3 month contract.
Duties:
- To provide a high quality service by a dedicated team for patients referred for Therapeutic Reablement at home and or Short Term Rehabilitation Services within Nottinghamshire Health Care and the Rushcliffe locality.
- Maximise recovery, minimising disability.
- Being proactive in facilitating discharges back to the community wherever possible, by working with patients and their carers and other members of the team by setting realistic goals and evaluating their outcomes.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
- Must be a car driver
