Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Intermediate Care Occupational Therapist to work in Warrington on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £25.50 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is a 3-month contract.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist
To undertake comprehensive and holistic occupational therapy assessments of patients including those with diverse presentations, multiple pathologies and complex needs, in a variety of settings. Based on assessment, to develop and deliver individualised and graded occupational therapy treatment programmes, that are regularly reviewed and evaluated to ensure intermediate care outcomes are met. To utilise advanced analytical skills and clinical reasoning and apply to the occupational therapy process in a person-centred approach. Based on the outcome of the assessment and treatment programme, to formulate appropriate and timely discharge strategies.
