Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Inpatient Intermediate Care Occupational Therapist to work in Bishops Stortford on a full-time/part-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £24 - £25 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Job Summary:
Intermediate care in-patient rehab. Adult physical rehabilitation unit - examples of types of condition encountered: CVA, MS, Parkinson's Disease, traumatic orthopaedic procedures, planned orthopaedic procedures, UTIs.
Treatment - 1:1 session, group work.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
Recent NHS experience within intermediate care either pre or post qualification
