Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Histology Biomedical Scientist to fill a full-time role in Durham. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Biomedical Scientist practices and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Biomedical Scientist job is £24 - £25 per hour (Assignment Rate) and is an initial 2-month contract (possible extension) Monday to Friday 08.30 to 5pm. Starting as soon as possible. Fixed weekdays in lab.
Requirements of the Biomedical Scientist:
- Must have a relevant qualification in biomedical science (BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science or alternative qualification)
- HCPC registration
- Experience of microtomy, embedding, special stains and immunocytochemistry.
- Skin dissection skills desirable.
- 2 years' experience
