Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Community/Falls Occupational Therapist/ Physiotherapist to work full-time/part-time in Beeston. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist job is £24-£25 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an ongoing contract.
Job Summary:
To be responsible for a high-quality therapy service by carrying out assessment, goal setting, implementing treatment programmes and evaluation in conjunction with other members of the MDT, clients, carers and family.
Develop rehabilitation treatment plans with patients and their carers, which can be implemented by Community Support Workers and Assistant Practitioners with a view to maintaining people within their own home environment.
Promote an understanding of Falls Risk Assessment and appropriate Interventions in the wider health Community and Social Care.
Requirements:
Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapy
HCPC registered as a Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist
Recent post qualifying experience working as a Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist
Previous NHS experience
