Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Biomedical Scientist to fill a full-time role (37.5 hours per week, 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday) in Orkney. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Biomedical Scientist practices and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Biomedical Scientist job is £35 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 2-month contract. Accommodation available will be a single bedroom, in a property shared with another locum.
Requirements of the Biomedical Scientist:
- HCPC registered
- Must have a relevant qualification in biomedical science (BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science or alternative qualification)
- Post qualifying experience within a similar role
- Preferably with 10 years extensive experience of working in Blood Transfusion and Haematology
- Experience of biochemistry
- Experience of multi-disciplinary work
