Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 5 Occupational Therapist to work in Lewisham on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £21 to £23 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Duties:
- May also involve designated work in the unit such as taking on assessments on another ward under supervision of band 6 OT
- Role involves working closely with activity coordinator and guidance will be available from lead OT and the current OT who will be remaining on the unit.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
- 2 years' experience
- PSTS desirable
- EPJ desirable
- Experience of acute mental health
