Location: East London

Pay: £32 per hour

Shift Pattern: Full time, working 40 hours per week; Monday - Friday with no weekend or evening requirements

Duties:

  • Carrying out apheresis and blood donation procedures, caring for donors and checking results
  • Be an integral part of the nursing team delivering first class care to our donors
  • Be responsible for taking blood and apheresis donations from our donors ensuring that they are looked after and providing care for them whilst they are donating

Requirements for the Apheresis/Blood Donation Nurse role:

  • Degree or equivalent in Nursing (RGN qualified) with active NMC Registration (Adult)
  • Post registration experience
  • Extensive experience in phlebotomy and cannulation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team and client-focussed culture
  • Intermediate life support accredited (desirable)
  • Ability to commute/relocate: London - reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
