Sanctuary Social Care has a locum vacancy for an Advanced Social Worker to work full-time based in Redhill, within the Looked after Children Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Advanced Social Worker role is £42 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Duties:
- Our overarching duty is to promote the upbringing of children within their families, where this is compatible with the welfare of the children.
- The post holder will be supported to develop high levels of skill in motivational practice which they will use to help parents identify the aspects of their lives/behaviours that they want to change and provide the help and support families, on a partnership basis, that they need to support them in their change.
Requirements of the Advanced Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's services
