Sanctuary Social Care is recruiting for a persistent and reliable Advanced Practitioner to work full-time within a Looked After Children Team based in St Helens. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work Practice in Children's Services and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Advanced Practitioner job is £30.50 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Job Duties:
- Ensuring Child Protection procedures are adhered too
- Working with cases in care proceedings
- Undertaking risk assessments
- Putting in place multi agency plans for children returning to their families
- Devise multi agency child protection plans
- Deputising for the Team Manager and managing NQSW
Requirements of the Advanced Practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant experience within similar roles
- 2 years post qualified experience within Assessment or Safeguarding.
- Car driver
