About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist in the Locality team, you will have the opportunity to enhance your skills and engage in holistic occupational therapy practice within a social care setting.

We understand the importance of career progression, which is why we have developed a 'Senior Readiness Program' to support Occupational Therapists in advancing their skills and experience towards senior roles.

Shortlisting Criteria

To be considered for this position, your application should demonstrate:

  • Professional qualification in Occupational Therapy and current registration with Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience in social care, health, or community-focused multi-disciplinary settings
  • Ability to conduct person-centred and proportionate OT assessments
  • Familiarity with moving and handling equipment such as hoists and stand aids
  • Knowledge of medical conditions and their impact on individuals, carers, and families
  • Understanding of relevant legislation including the Care Act and the Mental Capacity Act within a social care context.
  • For Senior OT roles, substantial post-qualification professional experience and experience in providing professional supervision are also required.
  • Applicants must possess a valid UK Driving Licence and have access to a car.
