Your Role:
- Oversee statutory, accounting, and financial reporting functions.
- Generate monthly management accounts.
- Prepare annual statutory accounts.
- Manage bookkeeping tasks.
- Supervise invoicing processes.
- Administer fortnightly and monthly payroll operations.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with banks, clients, and local authorities.
- Develop and monitor annual budgets.
- Provide strategic insights for new business prospects, contract evaluations, and tender estimations.
- Streamline and enhance processes and controls.
- Lead and mentor our existing Finance team.
Your Profile:
We are seeking candidates with a strong background in finance, including being a qualified AAT professional or having part-CIMA/ACCA qualifications with Post Qualification Experience (PQE). Proficiency in essential software like Excel, Outlook, and Word is essential, and familiarity with Sage Accountant and Sage Payroll software is advantageous.
A minimum of two years in senior-level financial roles, preferably within this sector, showcases your experience. You demonstrate exceptional organisational and time management skills, along with effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Your meticulous attention to detail, ability to thrive under pressure, and adept multitasking skills are vital for success. Fluency in written and spoken English is a must, and your previous office experience in a bustling environment rounds out your profile.
