Esa, who joined Sanctuary International is 2020, is exactly where he always hoped he would be, working in a role that’s all about connecting and helping people. As one of the kindest (and funniest) people we know, he would do anything for anyone. Well, almost anything.

Unusually for an international resourcer, he has a fear of heights meaning he won’t be jumping on a plane anytime soon. This doesn’t stop him from supporting candidates on their journey though. Far from it. He loves getting to know people, listening to their stories and learning more about their lives and ambitions.

He's genuinely motivated to do the best he can, which is something he says his father taught him.
