Sanctuary wins main honour at EADT awards

At last night’s East Anglian Daily Times Business Awards, Sanctuary had a truly fantastic run of award wins, which we’re incredibly proud of. Naturally, given the popularity of the awards, which are now in their 20th year, we were delighted to just have been shortlisted.

When we picked up the Youth Pledge award early on in the ceremony, we were delighted our apprenticeship work in helping young people was recognised. But the evening’s celebrations didn’t stop there as we were named ‘Best Large Business’ and then went on to win the coveted Judges’ choice award of ‘Business of the Year’.

To say there’s an extra buzz around the office today is an understatement; everybody has worked exceptionally hard this year to make this possible, taking it to six wins this year already, including three national Recruiter Awards for Excellence.

Commenting on the award wins, James Rook, Managing Director of Sanctuary Personnel, said:

“We’ve had a phenomenal year in terms of continued growth and evolving various aspects of our business and these awards are down to the hard work, dedication and incredible commitment of everyone of Sanctuary Personnel.

“I was personally extremely delighted to have won the ‘Youth Pledge’ award, which highlights our commitment as a business to supporting young people into employment and contributing to the New Anglia Youth Pledge.”
