Sanctuary named Public/Third Sector Recruitment Agency of the Year

By Gemma Raw

We’ve done it again, and this time in a completely new awards scheme. On Friday 11 November, Sanctuary Personnel was named Public/Third Sector Recruitment Agency of the Year at the British Recruitment Awards.

We were in good company at the awards as, among others, Metro Bank, Coca-Cola, Compare the Market and Octopus Energy also collected awards.

To say that we’re pleased is an understatement. Run by employee insight platform, New Possible, the awards celebrate the role that recruitment partners play in building successful organisations. As a winner, we had to show how we are transforming public sector recruitment by working together to be as innovative as possible in resolving frontline challenges.

Looking beyond the norm

Within our submission, we spoke about and evidenced how it takes constant commitment, confidence and bravery to do things differently within public sector recruitment.

We demonstrated how Sanctuary Personnel is taking a holistic approach to resourcing by pulling in subject matter experts and technology solutions to resolve frontline staffing issues.

The judging panel learned how we are working hard and thinking creatively to bring entire communities of candidates and clients closer together.

A constant commitment

We talked about the changes we’re making, through the use of technology, in international health and social care recruitment and how we’re helping employers reach candidates in a far more targeted way.

Here’s what the Judges had to say about the winners on the night, including Sanctuary Personnel:

“Hiring great people is key to building a thriving organisation and we’re immensely proud to recognise the inspirational teams and individuals that are working hard to make this happen day-in, day-out. Congratulations to all the Winners and Finalists who are helping to showcase the best of British recruitment.”

We’re constantly looking at ways to make the hiring process more efficient, but we could not do this without the support of our colleagues in health and social care. So we want to thank everyone in our community as this award also recognises their contribution.
