RideFest for St Elizabeth Hospice
Sanctuary Personnel were delighted to be involved in another charity fundraiser, this time for local charity St Elizabeth Hospice.
This is a charity close to many of our hearts. The hospice sets out to improve the lives of those with progressive and terminal illnesses, and each year, they rely on receiving millions of pounds in fundraising and donations to be able to keep doing the work that they do.
This year they celebrate their 30th anniversary by hosting static bike challenge, RideFest, for local businesses around Suffolk to take part in and compete against each other. The event was made up of four races; the first three saw staff members working together to cycle as many miles as possible in a 30 minute timeframe. The final race saw a respective CEO or senior manager from each company take on the challenge and see how many miles they can do.
As a business, we gave a fantastic effort managing to achieve a team distance of 23.06km and our CFO, Justin Jones, turned in a whopping score of 23.58km – a huge well done to all involved!
