The role of Registered Mental Health Senior Staff Nurse presents a chance to be a valued member of our client's Multi-Disciplinary Team, promoting the well-being of patients and carers while ensuring the effective implementation of prescribed nursing care. Operating within a purpose-built facility in Arnold, our client's hospital delivers acute adult mental health services. Following two years of successfully serving women, they've recently expanded to cater to male patients and are poised to inaugurate their brand-new PICU service.

Duties:

Responsibilities include supervising a designated team, contributing to their ongoing professional development, and ensuring compliance with care plans. You'll evaluate and respond to changes in patients' conditions, provide high-quality care to individuals with mental illness and personality disorders, and forge therapeutic relationships to enhance patient engagement. Additionally, at a senior level, you'll lead shifts, mentor student nurses, and uphold professional standards and ethical practices.
