Sanctuary Social Care has a locum vacancy for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time within a Youth Justice caseworker based in Kingston. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £30 (Assignment Rate) per hour. This is a 3-month contract.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Evidence of continuing professional development aligned to any relevant Professional Competency/Capability frameworks or Knowledge and Skills Statements.
- The candidate will have experience of social work and /or criminal justice practice and deep knowledge and understanding of youth justice and children's legislation and the ability to build strong working relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
