Sanctuary Personnel is looking for an experienced Youth Justice Case Manager to support Trafford’s Youth Justice Service. This is a vital role aimed at preventing offending and reoffending by children and young people, through a combination of direct work, partnership collaboration, and strategic intervention.

What You’ll Be Doing:

In this role, you will work with children aged 10–17 who are either involved in the criminal justice system or at risk of entering it. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Building strong, trusting relationships with children and their families to facilitate positive change.

  • Leading multi-agency work across health, education, probation, social care, and voluntary services.

  • Promoting a restorative and trauma-informed approach to justice, always keeping the child at the centre.

  • Supporting safeguarding objectives by assessing and managing risks to both the individual and the wider community.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: You’ll need a strong background in youth justice, youth work, social care, education, or safeguarding. Experience working within statutory frameworks or multi-agency settings is highly desirable.

  • Qualifications: One or more of the following (or equivalent):

    • Diploma in Social Work (DipSW)
