Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced Social Worker to work as a Young Persons Advisor within a Leaving Care Team based in Barking and Dagenham.

The pay rate for this locum Young Persons Advisor job is £23 per hour (assignment rate) and has an initial 3-month contract.

Main duties:

  • Hold an allocated caseload and be responsible for the provision of direct services to children, young people leaving care
  • Be responsible for delivering high quality practice in all allocated cases to improve outcomes for young people 18+
  • Ensure a multiagency approach to supporting vulnerable young people by working to national legislation, policy and guidance within London Borough of Barking & Dagenham procedures and team service plan objectives and standards

Requirements of the Young Persons Advisor:

  • Degree or equivalent in social work
  • Current Social Work England registration
  • Significant experience working within a similar role
