Sanctuary Personnel, an award-winning and renowned Recruitment Agency is looking for an experienced and dedicated Youth Offending Officer to work in Southwark.
The pay rate for this Youth Offending Officer job is £27.27 per hour (assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Main duties:
- Work within a systemic framework to prevent offending by children and young people and protect the public from the harmful activities of young people who offend
- Provide a comprehensive and effective integrated youth justice service to respond to the needs of young people and their families in a timely manner and within statutory guidelines
- Work closely with the practice group to assess need, plan and deliver focused intervention to prevent offending, safeguard children and promote positive outcomes
Requirements of the Youth Offending Officer:
- Degree or equivalent within Social Work
- HCPC registered as a Social Worker
- Recent experience working within youth offending
