Are you an experienced veterinary surgeon eager to take your career to the next level? We are searching for a talented Vet Surgeon to join our thriving small animal practice in Totton, Hampshire. This exciting opportunity allows you to grow your skills while working alongside a multi-certificate holder. The practice owner, known for her expertise in small animal surgery and emergency medicine, alongside her passion for exotic animals, provides a unique and varied learning environment. Situated conveniently on the west side of Southampton, Totton offers easy access to both the beautiful New Forest National Park and the stunning coastline, making it an idyllic place to work and live. We are seeking a team player with strong GP experience who is comfortable with occasional sole charge duty and possesses outstanding communication skills. Flexibility is key, as this can be either a full-time or part-time role, including a shared Saturday morning rota. Importantly, there are no out-of-hours commitments.

What you will do:
- Conduct consultations between 9 am-12 pm and 3 pm-6 pm, with the goal of closing the practice at 7 pm sharp
- Undertake surgeries from 11 am-2 pm
- Engage in consultations and attend to emergencies on a rotating Saturday morning schedule
- Develop and maintain high standards of veterinary care
- Participate in ongoing training and development
- Collaborate effectively with the team to provide comprehensive animal care and client service
