Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector has locum roles for Band 4 Therapy Instructor Assistants to work full-time based in Cheshunt.
The pay rates for these locum Therapy Assistant roles are £15 per hour (Assignment rate).
Duties:
- Working within a home first multidisciplinary team of health and social care professionals providing clinical/therapy care to patients closer to home as part of the admission prevention/avoidance team within the core community service
- To provide on-going clinical + rehabilitation therapy support to patients within their own homes as part of the case management and rapid response team
- Provide appropriate aspects of exercise, activity and treatment programmes which may be prescribed by Therapists.
- Support and enable patients in a range of activities to promote independent living and monitor their wellbeing.
- Assist qualified physiotherapists/occupational therapists in the delivery of rehabilitation programmes under the direction of the Therapists, as an integral member of the team.
- Duties will primarily be clinical, but may also include clerical, administration, and domestic tasks as well.
- Work without direct supervision on own caseload within a specified clinical area undertaking tasks delegated by a qualified physiotherapist.
Requirements of the Therapy Assistants:
- Recent experience working as a Therapy Assistant
- Must drive
