Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 3 Therapy Assistant to work full-time in Preston within the Home First Therapy Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of therapy Assistant.
The pay rate for this locum therapy Assistant job is £13.69 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 2-month contract. For this contract you would be working Monday - Sunday 9:00 - 18:00 (weekend work available but not essential)
Duties:
- Completing home visits alongside qualified therapist on the day of discharge from acute hospital
- Assess patient health and social care needs in own environment, following the discharge to assess model.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Therapy Assistant
- Ideally NHS placement experience
- Ideally a car driver
