Sanctuary Health is currently looking for experienced and dedicated Theatre Scrub Nurse to work full-time based in Sheffield. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of nursing and be registered with the NMC.

The pay rate for this locum Theatre Scrub Nurse job is £18 - £20 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) depending on shift, banding and experience. This role offers an initial 3-month contract with potential for ongoing.

Summary:

  • As a Registered Nurse you will be working within a clinical care team being accountable and responsible for policies and procedures being followed and overseeing the planning, provision, maintenance and evaluation of patient care.
  • You will have a current NMC licence to practice and have evidence of continued professional development and evidence of additional clinical skills training.
  • You will work with patients of all ages and with be involved with each stage of a person's operation.
  • You'll work primarily within hospital operating theatres and anaesthetic/recovery areas.
  • You may also be involved with procedures on wards, clinics or in other specialist areas such as cardiac catheterisation units.
  • You will make sure patients are always treated with courtesy and liase effectively with other disciplines or departments as appropriate.

Requirements of the Theatre Scrub Nurse:

  • Degree or equivalent in nursing
  • NMC Registered
  • Recent UK Nursing experience
  • Theatre Scrub experience
