We are currently seeking Theatre Nurses to join our team with ongoing roles available offering flexibility with full time or part time engagements at St Michael’s Hospital. This rewarding position offers competitive hourly rates with weekdays at £21.00 per hour Umbrella/ LTD, Saturdays and nights at £27.00 per hour Umbrella/ LTD, and Sundays and bank holidays at £33.00 per hour Umbrella/ LTD. What you will do:
- Prepare the operating theatre and equipment for surgical procedures ensuring all instruments and materials are sterile and ready for use.
- Assist surgical teams during operations, maintaining a high standard of aseptic technique.
- Monitor patients throughout pre and post-operative periods, providing compassionate care and observing for any complications.
- Collaborate with the anaesthetist and surgical team to ensure the smooth running of the theatre list.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all relevant safety protocols.
