What you will do:
- Lead the adult safeguarding process, ensuring adherence to legal frameworks, policies, and best practices
- Provide expert guidance and support to social workers and multi-agency partners in safeguarding investigations
- Chair safeguarding meetings and ensure high-quality decision-making in complex cases
- Collaborate effectively with external agencies, including health, police, and voluntary organizations, to promote safeguarding excellence
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance safeguarding outcomes
- Ensure a person-centred approach, empowering adults to have control over their care and protection
- Drive team performance and oversee the delivery of exceptional services
