Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Youth Offending Service Team Manager to work full-time based in Bromley. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work practice in Children's Services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum YOS Team Manager job is £43 - £45 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) is an initial 1-month contract.

Summary:

  • To discharge the authority's responsibilities under the Children Act 1989 and other relevant legislation with respect to children in need, particularly those in need of protection and those looked after by the authority.
  • To ensure that the highest standard of effective practice is delivered and maintained by the Youth Offending Service in line with; up to date legislation, National Standards and Bromley Youth Offending Service expectations and goals. To provide leadership, management and direction to a multi-agency Youth Offending Service team, ensuring that core statutory and prevention of youth crime functions are delivered to the highest quality.
  • To be responsible for the day to day operational management of the Youth Offending Service, ensuring all services are delivered to the highest achievable professional standards, meet key measurable objectives and operate within clear and up to date operational policies.

Requirements of the YOS Team Manager:

  • Degree or equivalent in Social Work
  • Current HCPC registration
  • Significant frontline experience within Children's Services
  • Experience within YOS
