Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company to the private and public sector has a locum vacancy for a Social Work Team Manager to work full-time within a Children’s Safeguarding Team based in Wigan.

The salary for this permanent Team Manager role is £45,859-£49,427 per annum.

Summary:

  • As post holder of this role, you will provide leadership and management to a team of experienced Child Protection Conference Chairs, leading on child protection planning processes.
  • Ensuring that all children; subject to Child Protection and / or Children Looked After, are supported through the delivery of high quality social care practice. Including quality assessment, planning, intervention to ensure all children an exceptional service and are able to reach their full potential.
  • As Team Manager, the role will involve excellent leadership skills to support and develop the team to deliver our ambitions set out in the Deal through the delivery of Signs of Safety Practice Model across the children’s services.

Requirements of the Team Manager:

  • Qualification/Degree in Social Care
  • Current Social Work England registration
  • Post qualifying experience within Children’s Services
