Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Team Manager to fill a full-time role within a Children's Service in a Safegiarding & Support Team based in Walthamstow.
The salary for this permanent Team Manager job is £53,826 - £56,928 per annum.
Job Purpose:
- The post of Team Manager within Children and Young People's Services is responsible for planning, maintaining, managing and developing statutory social work and other related services in accordance with relevant legislation, policies, guidance and procedures.
- This post is key in ensuring staff effectively safeguard children & young people, ensuring that their voices are heard in all engagement processes
Requirements:
- A recognised and relevant professional social work qualification (Degree / Diploma in Social Work).
- Qualified Social Work England registered Social Worker.
- Significant social work experience in a Children & Families setting
- Holder of current GSCC registration.
- Management qualification.
- Able to work flexible or unsocial hours at short notice.
- Experience of initiating and maintaining service developments
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of issues relating to children in need, child protection and looked after children, including relevant legislation
- Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing, and follow through required actions
- Ability to devise and implement decisions and care plans
