Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Team Manager to fill a full-time role within an Adults' Services based in Sutton, within the Safeguarding Team.
The pay rate for this locum Team Manager job is £38 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
- Lead and manage the dedicated Safeguarding adults team ensuring that practice, procedures, training and operational delivery work effectively together, within the team and across the Council and partner organisations, to safeguards adults from abuse and neglect.
- Oversee and ensure appropriate responses to adult safeguarding referrals and ensure safeguarding processes, including section 42 enquiries, are executed in a timely and appropriate manner, ensuring the person is kept at the centre of the process.
- Oversee expert advice provided to operational safeguarding leads reflects practice, procedures and principles of Sutton in the context of making safeguarding personal and Care Act 2014.
- Chair complex safeguarding adult's strategy meetings and case conferences and reviews.
- Monitor the quality and consistency of decision making and practice in safeguarding adults at risk.
- Contribute to training and briefings of social care and health staff, voluntary and private sector staff in promoting best practice.
- Work in partnership with Safeguarding Adults co-ordinator reviewing policy and practice.
Requirements:
- A recognised and relevant professional social work qualification (Degree / Diploma in Social Work).
- Registered on Social Work England.
- Management experience is essential.
