Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Team Manager to fill a full-time role within a LAC Team based in Southwark.
The pay rate for this locum Team Manager job is £38-£40 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
About the role:
The Team Manager role is within the Care Service in Southwark. The Care Service works with looked after children up to 15.5 years of age, its primary aim is to ensure we achieve permanency and stability for children and young people so they can achieve the best outcomes in all aspects of their life.
As a Team Manager you will be required to manage a team of social workers, including Newly Qualified Social Workers to provide exemplary leadership, management, and professional guidance.
You will ensure that there is a focus on permanency being achieved for children and young people. You will oversee the performance of the team and ensure statutory timescales are being met
You will also have oversight of all the young people within your team (approx. 68 children and young people) and ensure that risk is being managed and care planning progressed through regular systemic supervision (individual and group) and via chairing of multi-agency meetings and participation in relevant panels.
Requirements:
A recognized and relevant professional social work qualification (Degree / Diploma in Social Work).
Registered on Social Work England.
Management experience is essential.
