Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Team Manager to work full-time within a Hospital Joint Assessment & Discharge Team based in Havering. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work practice in Adult Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Team Manager role is £42 per hour (assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Requirements of the Team Manager:
- Be able to lead and manage a variety of staff from different professional backgrounds, to offer positive and flexible leadership
- Have contemporary knowledge and understanding of the statutory framework for health and social care, and of relevant current Guidance and research
- Have understanding of and commitment to Equalities and Diversity and ability to implement this in both service delivery and employment
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of the NHS Continuing Healthcare Framework and who have a keen interest in the discharge process. You will need knowledge and experience in the application of national policies, strategy and developments relating to Adult Social Care and the impact this has on vulnerable adults and their carers / families.
