Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Work Team Manager to work full-time within an Evolve Team based in Wandsworth. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Team Manager job is £42 per hour (assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Summary:
- The Evolve team supports vulnerable adolescents and their families, with a particular focus in the area of child exploitation.
- The team provides services to young people and their families/carers aged 11-25 years affected by going missing from home or care, criminal exploitation, sexual exploitation, serious youth violence, harmful sexual behaviour and gang affiliation.
- You will be passionate and driven and be an experienced manager who is looking to expand or develop further your experience in practice with young people.
- The team is dynamic and skilled, and consists of a mix of social workers and Evolve practitioners working directly with young people and their families to support positive outcomes and have a sustainable impact on improving lived experience.
- You will have the ability to work closely with the team, service manager and multi-agency partnership to drive the adolescent strategic vision forward while being innovative and creative in your approach to service delivery.
- As a team manager you will work collaboratively and cooperatively with the team and the senior managers to continue and enhance the team development, delivering on key priorities for the service.
Requirements of the Team Manager:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's service
- Full clean driver's licence and access to a car (or able to use another appropriate means of travel) to travel to a range of locations including home visits.
