Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for experienced and dedicated Social Workers to work full-time in Manchester, within the Court and Locality Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for these locum Social Workers is £34 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Duties:
- You would be joining an experienced group of team managers who are committed to the south and to their social workers.
- We have a frontline service where students are nurtured and supported and then move onto have permanent roles within court and locality in the south.
- Those students have a good grounding in the role and are a great asset to the teams that they join.
Requirements of Social Workers:
- Degree or equivalent in social work.
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services.
- Experienced in managing and leading a team of children's social workers.
- Experience in the supervision of staff.
- Experience in providing a quality and performance focus to their work.
- Experience of court proceedings in both the public and private law arena, permanency planning experience to achieve good outcomes for the child without drift and delay in that decision making.
- Experience of working at CIN and CP level and managing complex cases.
