Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Work Team Manager to fill a full-time role based in Gloucester, within the Children’s Safeguarding Team.

The pay rate for this locum Team Manager job is £45 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.

Equipment will be provided to support home working. We are currently looking at the roadmap for staff coming in to the office so there will be opportunities to work from home but also in the office.

Requirements of the Team Manager:

  • A recognised and relevant professional social work qualification (Degree / Diploma in Social Work)
  • Registered on Social Work England
  • Management experience
  • Safeguarding experience to lead, manage and be accountable for a team of social workers in the delivery of statutory duties and improvement of services to children, young people and families
  • Have knowledge of court work, CP, CIN and CIC and be experienced in supervising and quality assuring a team of dedicated social workers
