Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Team Manager to work full-time within a Children's Locality Team in Bradford. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.

The salary for this permanent Team Manager job is £42,683 - £45,591 per annum.

Key Purpose of the post:

  • To manage a team of professional Social Workers, and Community Resource Workers whose task is to fulfil on behalf of the Local Authority's statutory duties and responsibilities for children and young people in need and/or in need of protection and children looked after, assessing, intervening, planning and reviewing the needs of service users, and to establish, monitor and review packages of support to meet those needs.
  • To safeguard children and promote the welfare of children and young people.

Requirements of the Team Manager:

  • A Social Work Degree and are registered with the Social Work England as a qualified social worker.
  • Have at least 4 Years Social Work experience.
  • Know what excellence looks like and champion best practice.
  • Ideally have a good working knowledge of Signs of Safety approach.
  • Ability to support, develop and inspire others.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to make good decisions based on the information available, ensuring effective relationships with other professionals and social workers and their commitment to supporting children, young people and their families across the Bradford District.
