Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Work Team Manager to fill a full-time role within a Children with Disabilities Team based in Guernsey.
The pay rate for this locum Team Manager job is negotiable and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
- Lead and develop an integrated multi-disciplinary service for disabled children and young people from the age of 0 - 19 years.
- To act as lead on professional and management matters as may relate to the care of disabled children and young people within the Directorate.
- To have overall responsibility on a day-to-day basis for the management of the Children's Disability Service and be accountable for the service delivery, including business planning and future developments.
- To have responsibility for the services budgets and accountable for expenditure and monitoring, purchasing capitals, equipment, supplies and resources.
- To be responsible for leading, recruitment, selection, induction, supervision and appraisals of service staff in accordance with the policies and procedures related to their terms and conditions and to provide leadership and regular opportunities for communication.
Requirements of the Social Work Team Manager:
- A recognized and relevant professional social work qualification (Degree / Diploma in Social Work).
- Current Social Work England registration
