Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Team manager to work full-time within a Children in Care Team in Gloucester. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Team manager job is £41 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Job Summary:
This team works with Children in Care aged 11-25 and care leavers. As postholder of this role you will ensure that we are providing permanency planning and supporting stability of placements of children in care, as well as supporting their transition out of care.
Requirements of the Team Manager:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
- Must have strong management skills and understand this area of the business, providing clear management oversight, case supervision and quality assurance.
