Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Team Manager to fill a full-time role within an Assessment Team based in Medway.
The pay rate for this locum Team Manager job is £41 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Main Purpose of the Job:
- To supervise and support experienced and newly qualified social workers in their pod to provide safe, high quality casework to children and families that comply with legislation, guidance and local policies and procedures, and achieve positive outcomes.
- To maintain a focus on good practice and drive forward continuing improvement.
- To manage and oversee the performance of the pod and ensure compliance with practice standards and procedures.
Accountabilities:
- To demonstrate and model a high standard of practice that reflects a value based approach to work with children and families and is child-centred.
- To actively encourage pod members to deliver a service in line with service objectives, and provide professional knowledge, advice, oversight and challenge.
- To chair meetings, and represent the service as required on panels and working groups.
Requirements:
- A recognised and relevant professional social work qualification (Degree / Diploma in Social Work).
- Qualified Social Work England registered Social Worker
- Management experience is essential.
