Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Team Manager to fill a full-time role within the Adoption Team based in Blackpool.
The salary for this Team Manager job is £44,863 - £49,876 per annum and is on a permanent basis.
Duties:
- Undertake a Team Manager role utilizing our Blackpool Families Rock principles
- Manage a small team of staff focusing on undertaking both early permanency planning for children and on progressing adoption plans for children
- Working closely with both the children's teams and the Regional Adoption Agency Lancashire and Blackpool
- Ensure that permanence planning processes such as Adoption health assessments, and Child Permanence reports are of a high standard, child-focused, and will assist in the decision making regarding Adoption being in the best interest of those children
- Ensure children are matched and placed with their forever families
- Support the delivery of the new evening and weekend telephone support and advice service on a rota basis
Requirements of the Team Manager:
- A recognised and relevant professional social work qualification (Degree / Diploma in Social Work)
- Registered on Social Work England
- Management experience
