Sanctuary Social Care has a permanent role for an experienced and dedicated Supervising Social Worker to work full-time in Eastcote. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.
The salary for this permanent Social Worker role is £32,000 to £35,000 per annum.
Duties:
- Manage your own caseload whilst meeting deadlines
- Evidence experience in frontline social work in childcare and form F's
- Demonstrate strong analytical and assessment skills
- Have the ability to effectively communicate with children and their parents
- Promote great outcomes for all children and young people
- Working in partnership with other team members to provide a high quality and safe service for our foster families and the children/young people they look after.
- You will have a caseload of 12 - 14 carers.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in Social Work
- Current HCPC registration
- A minimum 2 years' experience within Children's Services
- Knowledge of fostering and childcare legislation
- Hold a current DBS
- Be eligible to work within the UK
