Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Supervising Social Worker to work based in Chester, within the Connected People Team.
The pay rate for this locum Supervising Social Worker role is £32-£35 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 1-month contract.
Safeguard and promote the welfare of Cheshire West and Chester’s Children by delivering a high-quality service, keeping Children’s wellbeing and safety at the heart of your approach.
Undertake detailed assessments and provide support to family and friends carers who are applying to look after children known to them including Special Guardians.
The majority of the work is Court directed.
Be involved in undertaking assessments that are robust and completed in a timely manner which may entail out of county travel and overnight stays.
Requirements of the Supervising Social Worker:
Degree or equivalent in social work.
Current Social Work England registration.
Recent experience of frontline children’s social work.
Have a sound understanding of Court processes, care proceedings work and permanence options for children.
