Sanctuary Personnel, a leading and award-winning recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Superintendent Pharmacist to work full-time based in Walsall, West Midlands.
The salary for this permanent Superintendent Pharmacist job is £45,000 - £49,000 per annum.
Shift Pattern:
- Monday – Friday
- 45 hours per week
Duties:
- Ensure safe and legal working practices within the Branch Network
- Ensure compliance with the Medicines Act 1968, Misuse of Drugs Act 1972 and Responsible Pharmacist Regulations
- Ensure compliance with the NHS Pharmacy Contracts
- Management of ProScript Connect
- Management of Generic Pricing and Management of Web Restrictions for Branch purchasing
- Management of service provision in the branch network
- Information Governance
- Maintenance of SOP's
- Management of NHS Choices
- Management of CPPQ
- Management of Clinical Governance
- Management of complaints and errors
- Managing of Risk and Patient Safety
- Managing relationships with professional organisations
- Maintenance of risk register
- Assess IQSP Audits within 72hr and make recommendations for improvements, and conduct full IQSP for poor scoring branches
- Management of GDPR
- Effective management of stock in your branches
- PTS rollout and management
Requirements of the Superintendent Pharmacist:
- Must be registered on the GPHC as a pharmacist and full fitness to practice
- Good knowledge of Pharmacy Law, Regulations and the NHS Contract
- Must have a relevant qualification in pharmacy
- Experience of working in a business sales environment
- IP accredited
- Excellent IT Literacy
- A professional approach when dealing with staff
- Good organisational skills, the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work on own initiative and be self-motivated
- Enthusiasm to drive towards success
- Be willing to travel daily
