Sanctuary Criminal Justice is currently looking for experienced and dedicated Substance Misuse Worker to work full-time based in Redditch. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of substance misuse.
The pay rate for this locum Substance Misuse Worker job is £16 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 1-month contract.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage a case load of service users, helping them to address their substance misuse issues and achieve a healthier lifestyle.
- Completing assessments and brief interventions with service users.
- Provide service users with advice, information and help to process practical support for the things that may be contributing to their substance misuse.
- Work effectively with partner agencies to deliver a quality service.
- Keep accurate records in accordance with organisational standards and reporting requirements.
Requirements of the Substance Misuse Worker:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience within a similar Substance Misuse role
- Experience with substance misuse clients
- Required to work full-time Monday to Friday
