Sanctuary Personnel, an award-winning and renowned Recruitment Agency is looking for a Substance Misuse Support Worker to work full-time based in Nottingham.
The pay rate for this locum Substance Misuse Support Worker job is £15 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Main duties:
- Carry out initial assessment of the potential or actual service user, including any risks, or his / her needs and requirements in respect of the service on offer.
- Design and deliver an effective programme, learning or support plan with the service user using specialist agencies as applicable. This should be based on an initial assessment of the service users' needs and abilities.
- The progressions outcomes delivered should be recorded, monitored, reviewed and updated regularly and in line with contract requirements.
- Maintain contact on a regular basis with service users in accordance with the requirements of the service. This includes maintaining a professional relationship and being a good role model to service users.
Requirements of the Substance Misuse Support Worker:
- Relevant qualification
- Recent substance misuse experience
- Previous experience working as a Support Worker in Substance misuse
