Sanctuary Criminal Justice is currently looking for a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker to work full-time based in Aldershot. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of substance misuse.
The pay rate for this locum Substance Misuse Recovery Worker job is £19.88 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an ongoing contract.
Duties:
- To manage the reception area of the hub to ensure effective brief interventions are facilitated by staff and recovery supporter volunteers
- To work with service users in attendance and manage day to day issues which arise in the reception area
- To take the lead in managing complex behaviours in the reception and surrounding areas
- To signpost to local services and empower service users to build their community networks and recovery capital
- To promote visible and contagious recovery in the reception areas of the hub
- To create and maintain a local Recovery Assets Register
- Engage service users into treatment and through their recovery journey
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience within a similar Substance Misuse role
- Experience with substance misuse clients.
